Drive Chain Kit – Left & Right

The drive chain is a vital component for enjoying your Me-Mover for many years to come. Proper inspection and maintenance are essential—not only for smooth and quiet riding, but also to ensure long service life and to protect other drivetrain components.

This chain kit is supplied by Hoyer / Protorque, manufacturers known for their high-quality chains designed to withstand the high revolutions and tremendous forces generated by the Me-Mover drivetrain. The kit includes both left and right chains, ensuring correct balance and performance.

Maintenance & Inspection

To keep your Me-Mover running smoothly, it is recommended to inspect the drive chains every 1,000 km (600 miles), paying special attention to stiff or seized links.

Basic maintenance steps:

• Inspect the chain for stiff links

• Clean using a dry cloth

• Degreaser may be used only if applied directly to the chain (avoid overspray)

• Reapply wet lube oil after cleaning

Stiff links can cause increased noise, reduced efficiency, and over time may damage the chain and other drivetrain components.
