1. Choice of law and jurisdiction
Any contract concluded between us using these Terms and Conditions is governed by Danish law. Any dispute, which may arise in connection with our contract, including its existence or validity, must be brought before a court in Denmark. Crosstepper Me-Mover is a Danish company with its headquarters in Denmark. Our primary assembly line and warehouse is also located in Denmark, from where most Me-Movers are shipped out to our customers worldwide.
2. Products
These terms and conditions apply to all products in the Me-Mover web shop (“Products”).
3. Pre-order and Order registration
When placing an order or pre-order for the Products, you will be required to provide the Company with your address, contact and billing information. You represent and warrant that all provided information is accurate and kept up to date. The Company shall have no responsibility or liability for inaccurate information or information that later becomes outdated and shall have no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. You can update your information prior to your product being shipped by sending an e-mail to sales@me-mover.com.
4. Purchase order
When placing an order for the Products, you will be required to provide the Company with your address, contact and billing information. The freight forwarder (typically Fedex, UPS or DHL) may require you to fill out an identification form upon import. You represent and warrant that all provided information is accurate and kept up to date. The Company shall have no responsibility or liability for inaccurate information or information that later becomes outdated and shall have no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. You can update your information prior to your product being shipped by sending an e-mail to sales@me-mover.com.
Payments made within Denmark shall be made in Danish Kroner. Payments made within the European Union shall be made in Euros and payments from the US, Canada and the rest of the world shall be made in American dollars / USD.
Payments that are not made in the above-mentioned manner can be subject to rejection.
4. Payment
4.1 Orders
After placing an order you will receive an order receipt. This is not an order confirmation. A purchase agreement is first concluded when we have confirmed your order email. Our handling time to process each order may take up to 72 hours excluding public holidays or weekends. Please verify the order confirmation contains the correct shipping details.
4.2 Refusal of orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason including limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies, or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department.
5. Prices
5.1 All EUR or DKK prices presented in the webshop include VAT(25%) and are only valid for the EU countries. All USD (shipments outside the European trade union) prices exclude VAT and duty charges unless agreed otherwise. In other words, every shipment outside the European Union will always be subject to VAT and Duty charges. If you need advice on the duty charges, please consult us directly: hugoa@me-mover.com
5.2 We may from time to time provide special offers and/or campaigns. The duration and limitations of special offers will be displayed on the website or in the ad/newsletter.
5.3 All prices are subject to printing and typing errors. No liability is accepted for the consequences of printing and typing errors.
5.4 Crosstepper Me-Mover ApS is not obliged to deliver products that are incorrectly priced as a result of printing and typing/systems errors.
In the event of a pricing error, Me-Mover may refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. We will notify you of any cancellations. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Please clear your browser to avoid any update mistakes.
6. Delivery
The order will be processed within 72 hours and prepared for shipment, if you purchased in-stock products unless indicated otherwise.
Shipment within Europe, under normal circumstance, take between 1-5 business days.
Shipments outside Europe may take 12-16 business days depending on the courier’s capacity, backlog of orders, or alike. Please ensure to track your order to ensure a speedy delivery. A courier/customs agent may at times require additional information (i.e. Social security number for tax purposes) and further delay the shipment. It is the customer’s responsibility to act upon such a request. Any additional shipping costs because of neglecting or not providing additional information to the courier or customs agents in a timely manner will not be covered by Crosstepper Me-Mover.
7. The right to withdraw
7.1 Withdrawal of the Company:
The Company reserves the right, at its own discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason whatsoever. Some situations that may result in the Buyer’s order being cancelled include, but are not limited to, non-availability of the Product or quantities ordered by Buyer or inaccuracies or errors in pricing information.
If the Buyer’s order is cancelled after the payment has been processed, the paid amount will be returned to the Buyer either to the bank account provided by the Buyer, or to the original payment instrument from which payment was made, or to any pre-paid payment instrument account of the Buyer.
In the event that a promotional code was used for the purchase of the Product, the amount under such the promotional code shall not be refunded in case of cancellation.
7.2 Withdrawal of the buyer (applies only to consumers):
You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within 14 days after delivery ( some promotions offer 30 days). The withdrawal period shall expire after 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquire physical possession of the goods or:
In the case of multiple goods ordered by you in one order and delivered separately, the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the last item.
Before the expiry of the withdrawal period, you shall inform the Company of your decision to withdraw from the contract. For this purpose, you must submit this claim to support@me-mover.com and make any other unequivocal statement setting out your decision to withdraw from the contract. The withdrawal period is met if you send the notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Please note that Me-Mover only refunds the amount that was paid to the company during the purchase. The product needs to be returned to the advised location and must contain all components and the original packaging. It is the buyer’s responsibility to return the product in the same conditions to the seller. Smaller usage marks originating from a test ride are accepted. Scratches, cracked or missing components may be subtracted from the refund amount. If you require any assistance during the return process, please contact sales@me-mover.com .
7.2.1. Effects of withdrawal & refunds
In the case of withdrawal from a contract, the Company will reimburse all payments received from you, including any delivery costs, without undue delay, and not later than 14 days from the date on which the Company was informed of your decision to withdraw from the contract. Please note that demo, last year models or refurbished units are not entitled for a refund.
The Company will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and if so, the Company will not impose any fees in respect of the reimbursement on you.
The Company will not reimburse the return cost of delivery. Unless the Company has offered to collect the goods itself, the Company may withhold the reimbursement until the Company has received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We will assist you finding the nearest return location in the US, Canada and Europe. Purchase outside North America and Europe must always be returned to Denmark.
8. Non-conforming goods
The rules on lack of conformity of goods in the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven) apply, which means that you have certain statutory warranties for the goods’ conformity with the contract.

If you notice the non-conformity of the goods at the time of delivery, you should refuse to receive the goods.
The Company reserves the right to reject claims of lack of conformity of products, which have not been handled correctly and according to instructions in the USER MANUAL.

9. Limitation of liability
To the extent not prohibited by applicable law, in no event shall the Company be liable for personal injury, or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Products, however caused, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise) and even if company has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Company’s total liability to you for all damages (other than as may be required by applicable law in cases involving personal injury) exceed the amount of your Pre Order or Order. The foregoing limitations will apply even if the above stated remedy fails of its essential purpose.
10. Force majeure
Neither party shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform their obligations due to an event beyond the control of such party, including, but not limited to, any act of terrorism, war, political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man-made eventuality outside of that party’s control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could have been reasonably foreseen. Any party affected by such event shall inform the other party and shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with these terms and conditions.

Prices can be subjects to change and technical difficulties. Tax (USD related orders) and and Import duty charges are excluded as they will vary according to local policy.
